Here, you can get a sneak peek into what’s cooking in our API kitchen.
Before we dive in, let’s make one thing clear: this is all tentative. No promises made.
We’re sharing our vision and what we’re excited to work on, but things can change. Releasing API endpoints involves coordination with multiple teams, each juggling their own priorities. So, no promises, just possibilities!
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build and refine these API resources.
What’s Coming Next?
Incoming Documents - Q4, 2024/Q1, 2025
We’re excited to announce that we’re working on the /incomingDocuments
endpoint, which will enable you to send and post various incoming records, such as supplier invoices and other external files, directly into the system. This new feature will streamline how you handle and process incoming information, ensuring accurate and efficient posting into your workflows. With options for categorization and tracking, managing these entries will become more automated, saving you time and reducing the need for manual input.
Basic Identifiers - Q4, 2024/Q1, 2025
We’re enhancing our data retrieval capabilities with new endpoints for dimension identifiers. Soon, you'll be able to retrieve detailed information about your Projects and Departments, allowing for better organization and reporting across your financial activities. Additionally, we are updating the /transactionLines
endpoint to include Project IDs and Department IDs, enabling you to associate transactions with specific projects and departments. This will provide deeper insights and more granular tracking of your financial data, helping you streamline project management and departmental budgeting with ease.
Basic Current Assets - Q1/Q2, 2025
We’re expanding our support for managing Current Assets with the upcoming /accountsReceivable
and /accountsPayable
endpoints. These new endpoints will allow you to retrieve detailed balances for each of your clients (counterparties), providing a clear view of outstanding receivables and payables. By integrating these into your workflows, you’ll gain real-time insights into client-specific balances, helping you better manage cash flow, track payments, and optimize financial operations with greater precision.
Basic Payments - Q1/Q2, 2025
We’re introducing the /payments
endpoint, designed to streamline the tracking and management of invoice payments. With this new feature, you'll be able to trace payments as they are made, linking them directly to corresponding invoices and updating relevant transactions automatically. This will give you real-time visibility into which invoices have been paid, ensuring accurate financial records and reducing manual reconciliation efforts. It simplifies the process of staying on top of incoming payments and keeping your books up to date effortlessly.
